For this exercise, I want you to get as much information about a specific mineral as you can and (1) write it up in a one page report, (2) 1" margins and (3) 1.5 line spacing (not double spaced). You may type it* OR write it; *If it is handwritten, it must be at least one and one-half pages in length (front and back). Things to include are mineral properties, history, chemistry, other minerals which are associated with it, uses, locations where it's found, any special significance, any special identifying features, and anything else you feel is either interesting or useful information about your particular mineral.

Cite your sources by URL, and DO NOT use Wikipedia..
Failure to cite sources will result in the deduction of one letter grade.
